Dog breeder software built around your actual week
BreederQ launches with three core tools — chosen because they're where breeders lose the most time and the most sales — and an AI assistant working inside all three. No pedigree-database learning curve. No feature maze. The business side of your program, handled.
Meet your AI staff
Three helpers, on duty 24/7. You stay the boss.
The Inbox Agent
Drafts replies to every inquiry and update request in your voice — aware of your waitlist and which puppies are spoken for. You review, tweak, send.
The Calendar Agent
Turns one breeding date into the whole litter schedule — due date, vaccines, testing, go-home weekend — and queues the reminders to you and your families.
The Memory Agent
Knows your records cold. “Who's still waiting on a contract?” “What did I promise the Hendersons?” Ask in plain English, get the answer with receipts.
None of them ever contacts a family without you — they draft and prepare; every send is your call.
Client communication
Turn puppy inquiries into deposits — from one inbox
Puppy buyers live on their phones — and every breeder knows what a litter announcement does to yours. BreederQ gives you a dedicated business number and one inbox for every text and email, so your personal phone stays personal and no inquiry falls through the cracks.
- Two-way texting from a dedicated business number
- Email from the same screen — one thread per family
- AI drafts replies that sound like you — review, tweak, send
- Send a litter update to every reserved family at once
- Canned answers for the questions every litter brings
- Built-in opt-in and opt-out handling, so your texting stays compliant
It's 9 p.m., week two of the litter. Fourteen unread messages: three families asking for photo updates, two new puppy applications, one “is the red boy still available?” You open BreederQ and drafts are already waiting — each in your voice, each aware of who's on the waitlist and which puppies are spoken for. Review, tweak one line, send. Inbox zero in six minutes, without leaving the whelping box.
Communication history
Every promise, on the record
“You said we'd have second pick female.” Every breeder has had that conversation. With BreederQ, each family has one timeline — every text, every email, every phone-call note, their application, their deposit — so you never have to reconstruct history from three apps and memory.
- One timeline per family across text, email, calls, and notes
- Waitlist position, deposit status, and puppy match at a glance
- Searchable history — find any conversation in seconds
- Ask AI anything — “who's still waiting on a contract?” — and get the answer from your own records
- Notes from visits and phone calls, right in the thread
A buyer emails claiming they were promised second pick. Instead of scrolling months of texts, you open their timeline: the February call note, the deposit receipt, the message where you offered third pick. You reply kindly, with certainty, in two minutes — and the relationship survives because the record is clear.
Events & calendar
Never miss a heat, a vaccine, or a go-home day
Heats, progesterone tests, breedings, due dates, whelping, dewclaws, ENS days, vaccinations, temperament testing, visits, go-home weekend — a breeding program runs on dates, and most of them live in your head during the exact weeks you're most exhausted. BreederQ keeps them all in one place and does the reminding for you.
- Track heats, progesterone results, breedings, and projected due dates
- AI turns one breeding date into a complete litter schedule automatically
- Litter milestones: ENS, deworming, vaccinations, vet checks, photo days
- Schedule family visits and go-home appointments without the back-and-forth
- Automatic reminders by text or email — to you and to your families
Willow's progesterone results confirm the surge. You log the breeding date, and BreederQ lays out the road ahead: projected due date, whelping-week checklist, dewclaw day, first vaccines, Volhard testing at seven weeks, go-home weekend. Every reserved family automatically hears about the dates that matter to them — you don't send a single “just confirming Saturday!” text by hand.
Questions breeders actually ask us
What is BreederQ, exactly?
BreederQ is business software for dog breeders: client texting and email in one inbox, a complete record of every conversation with every family, and one calendar for everything from heats and progesterone tests to vaccinations and go-home day — with an AI assistant drafting the routine work. It's the client-and-calendar side of your program, not another pedigree database.
How much will it cost?
Three promises now, numbers at launch: hobby programs (about one litter a year) will have a free plan — free forever, not a trial. Growing programs get one simple plan, not per-dog or per-message pricing. And early-access members keep a discounted rate for life.
I'm not a tech person. Will I actually be able to use this?
That's the design brief. BreederQ works from your phone, looks like the messaging apps you already use, and skips the learning-curve maze older kennel software is known for. Early-access members also get white-glove setup — we move your waitlist, contacts, and calendar in for you.
Can I bring in my existing waitlist and records?
Yes. Spreadsheets, notes apps, paper binders — during early access we do the import with you, so day one starts organized instead of starting over.
Who owns my data? Can I get it out?
You own it, full stop. Your client list, conversations, and records will be exportable at any time. Breeders have lost contracts and records to apps that locked them in or vanished — we're building the opposite.
Does the AI talk to my buyers without me?
No. The AI drafts replies, builds schedules, and answers your questions about your own records — but nothing goes to a family unless you hit send. Your voice, your program, your call.
Is texting puppy buyers from an app even allowed?
Yes, with proper consent — and BreederQ is being built to handle that for you: opt-in tracking, automatic STOP/HELP handling, and registered business texting that carriers accept. You text like a professional operation without becoming a compliance expert.
Does BreederQ replace my pedigree software or my Good Dog listing?
No — it runs alongside them. Keep whatever you use for pedigrees and COI math, and keep the marketplaces that bring you inquiries. BreederQ is where those inquiries become organized conversations, deposits, and families you don't lose track of — relationships you own, on your own number and email.
